Who we are

Scare a Vibecoder is run by AF IT Consulting EOOD, a company registered in Bulgaria (UIC (ЕИК) 206804540, VAT number BG206804540). You can reach us at contact@scare-a-vibecoder.dev.

What this site is

A comedy site. Every scare is fiction. The tips after each scare are general pointers, not professional security, legal or financial advice. Using the site and sending free scares costs nothing.

Custom scares

A custom scare is a short scene about the app you describe, written by an AI model (Anthropic's Claude) after you pay, together with a private link that plays it. The order page shows examples of what you get. Because it's written by AI, a scare can be imperfect or resemble other scares; we check its format, not every word. If you don't like it, you can have it rewritten once for free.

Price and payment

A custom scare costs €5, excluding VAT. Customers in the European Union pay VAT at the rate of their country, shown at checkout before you pay. Businesses in the EU with a valid VAT number pay no VAT under the reverse charge. Customers outside the EU pay no VAT. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card details. The contract is made when your payment is confirmed.

Delivery

We start writing your scare as soon as your payment is confirmed, and it's usually ready within a minute. Then its link works and you can send it straight away. If we can't write it, for example because the request breaks the rules below, we refund you in full automatically. Anyone with the link can open it, so share it only with the people you mean to. We keep paid links working while the site runs. If we ever close the site, we'll announce it here at least 30 days before.

Your right of withdrawal

If you're a consumer in the EU, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. For digital content that's delivered right away, this right ends once delivery has started, if you agreed to that. Before you pay, we ask you to confirm that you want your scare delivered immediately and that you understand you then lose your right of withdrawal. Since we start delivering the scare as soon as you pay, you can't withdraw after that.

This doesn't affect your rights if the scare isn't delivered or doesn't work as described. In that case, see Refunds below.

Refunds

If your scare isn't delivered, the link doesn't play, or you were charged twice, email us the link within 30 days and we'll fix it or refund you in full. We may also refund in other cases at our discretion.

Keep it friendly

Custom scares are for teasing an app, yours or a friend's, not the person. Don't use them to harass, threaten or humiliate anyone, and don't include anyone's private information. Only enter details you're allowed to share. We refuse requests like that, and we may remove a scare that breaks these rules or that the person it's about asks us to remove. If we remove a paid scare because it broke these rules, we don't refund it; if we remove it for any other reason, we do.

Your details

You give us a first name, an app name and a description. We and our AI provider use them only to write and show your scare. Our privacy page explains what we store and for how long.

Liability

The site is for entertainment. Our total liability for a custom scare is limited to what you paid for it, and we're not liable for indirect losses. Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, such as for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer.

Law and complaints

These terms are governed by Bulgarian law. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts. If we can't resolve a complaint together, consumers can contact the Bulgarian Commission for Consumer Protection (kzp.bg), whose conciliation commissions handle disputes out of court.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force when you buy applies to that purchase.
